Two members of the Tasman Valley Young Farmers Club have earned a spot in the regional final of New Zealand’s premier agricultural competition.
Amelia Marsden and Bryce Win will represent the Tasman region at the Top of the South practical day in February 2026, as part of the FMG Young Farmer of the Year contest. The club says it is incredibly proud of Amelia and Bryce’s hard work, dedication and passion for the industry.
The FMG Young Farmer of the Year competition has been running for more than 50 years, showcasing the skills, knowledge and leadership of young farmers from across the country. The grand final is set to be hosted in New Plymouth next year.
Amelia says the competition is a fantastic opportunity to connect with others in the industry and challenge herself across a wide range of skills and knowledge areas.
The community is now backing Amelia and Bryce as they prepare for the next stage of the competition.
