Our dear Dharma brother Michael Elliott passed away peacefully at 11.27 am on Tuesday 13^th January at the age of 98.

Mike was friend to so many as he had been deeply connected with the Wangapeka Study and Retreat Centre for nearly five decades, three of them as Centre manager. His kind, gentle and persistent presence played a major role in shaping the Centre.

At a later date, there will be a memorial gathering at the Wangapeka to allow as many as can to be present to honour his passing. In the meantime, this announcement is for his cremation.

Everyone is welcome to attend a short, informal service, starting promptly at 1.00pm, this Friday  16^th. January at the Wakapuaka Crematorium Chapel, 188A Atawhai Drive, Atawhai, Nelson 7010.  You are invited to bring an offering to lay on his coffin and there will be opportunity to share memories and good wishes.
