Pipes in the Park – 9th Year!

The City of Nelson Highland Pipe Band is back with Pipes in the Park, a celebration of Celtic music and dance in the beautiful Fairfield House Meadow on Sunday, 25 January 2026 at 5.30pm.

Enjoy an unforgettable line-up including the full Pipe Band, soloists, the enchanting Annemieke Harmonie on harp, the high-energy Kahurangi Irish Dancers, plus plenty of surprises!

Savour authentic Scottish nibbles (yes, there’ll be locally made haggis!) and try your luck with our famous raffles.

The Fairfield Bar will be serving local beers & wines, cold drinks, and Appleby Ice Cream – perfect for a hot Nelson evening.
-Tickets just $20 at the gate (kids under 17 free).
